Zappos went through the same growth problem and needed to figure out a way to get employees to connect after surpassing a few hundred folks. One of our solutions was the Zappos Face Game, a tool created by tech. Each day when you logged into our internal intranet, before you got in, you had to play a quick game. You'd see a picture of an employee and a multiple choice quiz with various na mes to see if you knew who the person was. The tool kept score so if you got it correct, your score went up. If you got it wrong, it was all good but it took you to the person's bio page to learn a bit about where they worked, about their life and their interests. We also encouraged Zapponians to reach out to the person they didn't know and connect! What cool ways has your company helped your employees build relationships?
